Cherokee Historical Screensaver

If you've grown bored with flying toasters on your computer's screen saver, The Cherokee Nation's Cultural Resource Center has something for you. The center has developed the first in an on-going series of Cherokee Screensavers for the PC. Installment one is called "Cherokee Historical Screensaver," and includes images from the Cherokee Nation prior to Oklahoma statehood. Among the collection are images of the Cherokee Capital Building, the stagecoach stop in Vian and the Cherokee Female Seminary.
The self-installing file includes printable information about each historical image. Accompanying the screensaver is also 'wallpaper' which includes all images in an artistic collage. For more information on the screensaver, the images, or other historical sites in the Cherokee Nation, please contact the Cherokee Nation Cultural Resource Center at 918/458-6170 or cultural@cherokee.org
